Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026. We may update this policy; the date above changes when we do.

Introduction

Beezee helps you turn everyday chat into a structured workspace for the things you manage. This Privacy Policy explains how Beezee collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our websites, applications, and related services (the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Who we are

Beezee operates the Services described on this website. Depending on how you use Beezee, we may act as a controller of your account and usage information, and as a processor on your instructions when you store information about third parties (for example your clients) in your workspace.

Contact admin@beezee.chat for privacy requests, account questions, or general product help.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the product, and limited technical and diagnostic data from your devices and browsers.

  • Account and identity: name, email, authentication identifiers, organization details (if applicable), and settings from our identity provider when you sign in (for example WorkOS).
  • Workspace content: entities, records, notes, and similar data you create in Beezee, including content you send through connected channels such as Telegram or WhatsApp when you enable them.
  • Communications: messages you send to Beezee assistants, support emails, and feedback you voluntarily provide.
  • Technical data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device type, browser type, referrers, timestamps, and cookies or similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Diagnostics: error logs and performance metrics needed to operate and improve reliability and security.
  • Marketing preferences: subscription state for product updates when you opt in.
  • Payment-related data (when billing is enabled) is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full payment card numbers on Beezee infrastructure.

How we use information

We use personal data to provide, secure, and improve the Services, and to communicate with you as described below.

  • Provide authentication, accounts, and core product functionality (including AI-assisted structuring of your workspace).
  • Maintain backups and disaster recovery, monitor reliability, and detect abuse or security incidents.
  • Respond to support requests, send operational notices (for example security alerts or material policy updates), and handle legal or regulatory requests where required.
  • Measure product usage in aggregated or de-identified form where possible, and analyze feature adoption.
  • Send optional marketing or product news only if you have opted in or where permitted by law.

Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions)

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases as appropriate:

  • Performance of a contract: processing necessary to deliver the Services you request.
  • Legitimate interests: securing the product, preventing fraud, improving features, and internal analytics, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent: cookies or marketing where consent is required, and optional communications you explicitly agree to.
  • Legal obligation: complying with applicable law and lawful requests from public authorities.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session integrity, preferences, analytics (if enabled), and security as described in our Cookie Policy.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies may be required to sign in and use secure areas of the product.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the categories of recipients below and under appropriate safeguards.

  • Service providers and subprocessors who help us operate infrastructure, hosting, databases, identity, analytics (if used), observability, email delivery, customer support tooling, and AI model providers strictly as needed to process prompts you initiate.
  • Professional advisers (lawyers, auditors) where required.
  • Authorities when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: if Beezee undergoes a merger, financing, or acquisition, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality commitments.
  • With your direction: when you integrate a third-party service or export data at your request.

Retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, recover accounts, or meet legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your account subject to legal exceptions (for example finalized billing records or regulatory holds).

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and safe handling of integrations.

For more detail, see our Security page.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

  • Access and correction through your account settings and the personal cabinet where available.
  • Deletion: email admin@beezee.chat from the address associated with your account; we may verify your identity before processing.
  • Object to certain marketing or analytics processing as permitted by law.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
  • Appeal automated decisions where applicable law provides that right.
  • You may designate an authorized agent for requests where local law permits and verification requirements are met.

International transfers

We may process and store data in the United States and other countries where we or our subprocessors operate. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact admin@beezee.chat and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

Where changes are material and consent or notice is required by law, we will provide additional notice (for example by email or in-product banner).
